Living Landscape II - Dance Series
Living Landscape II - Inner Weather
Learning to move with what move through us.
Movement • Breath • Enquiry • Reflection
The body is always speaking.
In Living Landscape, we explored the landscape itself.
We discovered what it feels like to ground, soften, strengthen, open, express, listen and expand.
Now we begin to ask a different question.
Inner Weather explores what moves through the landscape.
The Mountain doesn’t change. The weather does.
The River remains. The current changes.
The Forest is always there. Seasons move through it.
That is a profound metaphor for the human experience.
What weather most commonly moves through this landscape, and how do we increase our capacity to stay present with it?
What if our feelings were never something we needed to fix?
Like weather moving across a landscape, our inner world is constantly changing.
Fear arrives.
Anger rises.
Grief moves through.
Tenderness opens us.
Joy expands us.
And sometimes many things are here at once.
Inner Weather is a seven-week somatic movement journey exploring our capacity to stay present with what moves through us.
Rather than trying to calm, change, release or make sense of every feeling, we will practise becoming curious about how it lives in the body.
What shape does anger make?
Where does grief move?
What happens when fear is given space?
Can tenderness and strength exist together?
Can joy be welcomed without holding onto it?
Through movement, breath, music, stillness and embodied enquiry, we will explore the changing weather within us — learning to notice sensation, follow movement and make space for the full spectrum of our human experience.
This is not about becoming less emotional.
It is about growing our capacity to feel deeply without losing ourselves inside what we feel.
To discover that we can be the landscape beneath the weather.
Steady enough to remain.
Spacious enough to feel.
Alive enough to let it move.
Can I allow intensity without becoming the intensity?
Join me for seven weeks of movement, presence, breath, ritual and connection as we journey through the living landscape of the body and rediscover the wisdom that has been there all along.
