Women’s monthly support group for women experiencing hair loss and looking for

kinship and empowerment on their journey.

The Radiant Collective is a Support Group offering a safe, supportive space for women experiencing hair loss to come together and support one another, feel heard, inspired and to feel less alone on this journey.
The group provides emotional support, shared experiences, and practical advice on coping with the physical and emotional aspects of hair loss.

Who is this support group for: Women experiencing Alopecia and hair loss (any form: androgenetic, alopecia areata, traction alopecia, female pattern baldness, treatment related etc.),

Mission Statement: To provide a safe, supportive, and empowering space for women with alopecia and hair loss, fostering connection, self-acceptance, and confidence through shared experiences, education, and holistic wellness.

Meeting details: Meetings will be held monthly online for 1.5 hours on Zoom for discussions and connection for those newly diagnosed and long-term individuals. A zoom link will be shared via email each month the week of our call so you can jump in and join us on the 1.5 hour group meeting.

Ongoing weekly support: We will have a Whatsapps group that women can join to do weekly check ins and shares to inspire and uplift one another. Check ins are on a Monday and can include intentions for the week and reflections. Please let me know if you’d like the option of joining this group to engage with the weekly check ins.

Face to face catch ups: This group will also meet in person once a month at a private event in Brisbane and will include special guests from time to time and encourage general face to face interactions with group members and sometimes include the occasional dinner at a Brisbane restaurant for special occasions for those wanting to venture out.

Purpose of the Group:

  • Emotional Support: Many women with alopecia/hair loss struggle with self-esteem, body image, and mental health. The group fosters a judgment-free environment for sharing feelings and challenges.

  • Education & Resources: Members learn about different types lifestyle adjustments and tools to build their self esteem and tend to big emotions.

  • Community & Connection: It’s a space to connect with others who truly understand the experience of hair loss, reducing feelings of isolation.

  • Practical Tips & Solutions: Discussions may cover wig options, scalp care, makeup techniques for eyebrows and eyelashes, and holistic approaches.

  • Encouragement & Empowerment: Seeing others navigate hair loss with confidence can inspire and boost self-worth.

  • Stress Reduction: Talking openly in a supportive environment can relieve stress, which in turn may help with overall health and well-being.

  • Hope & Positivity: Hearing success stories and resilience from other women can instill hope and a positive outlook on self-image and identity.

  • Advocacy & Awareness: The Facilitator of The Radiant Collective, Bianca, works to spread awareness and reduce stigma around hair loss through working directly with women and being a confident role model in her community.
